1) What’s the biggest country in the world? Where is it?
What are its neighbours?
Russia is the world's largest country.
the greatest country in the world, ie, which has greater length, is Russia, with 17.075.200km², followed by Canada (9.984.670km²), United States (9.631.420km²) and China (9.596.960km²). Spain is very far, with "only" 504.782km² surface.
But Russia is not content with being the greatest country in the world, as it is also the largest country in two continents at once.
Russia is the largest country in Europe, with 4,320,025 square kilometers in this territory, and is also the largest country in Asia, with 12,755,175 square kilometers.
Russia borders with fourteen countries.
Located in Northern Asia and Eastern Europe, Russia bordered on the north by the Arctic Ocean; northwest with white, Finland, Norway and the Bering Strait sea; conBielorrusia west, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the Baltic Sea; southwest with Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, the Black Sea and Sea of Azov; south with China, Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea; southeast China, Mongolia and North Korea; and on the east by the Sea of Okhotsk. It also shares maritime borders with Japan (east) and Alaska, United States (to the northwest).
Russia extends over a total area of 17,075,400 square kilometers and has a population of 142,905,200 inhabitants (year 2010). It is the world's largest country, occupying all of northern Asia and 40% of the surface of Europa. Moscow is the capital, the most populous federal subject country.

2) What’s the longest river in the world? In Asia? In
North and South America?
A scientific expedition sets the length 6,800 kilometers of the Amazon, 100 kilometers longer than the Nile
ELPAIS.COM 16 JUN 2007 - 11:36 CET
The Nile and the Amazon. Between these two rivers that flow through several countries in Africa, the first, and South America, the second, browse the debate about which is the longest course in the world. So far, the Nile ranked first followed by Amazon. However, as the BBC published on its website, an expedition of scientists 'elongate' the length of the Amazon to the 6,800 miles, over 100 miles longer than the Nile.
This group of scientists, expedition in Peru, a country that runs the Amazon with Brazil and Colombia, has concluded that the source of the river is at a point in southern Peru rather than in the north as had been thought until now. Scientists traveled for 14 days to establish the altitude about 5000m. So far, the source of the river had been set at the Quebrada de apacheta with Misti Snow Mountain.
This revelation has been used by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics to say that today could be considered as a fact that the Amazon is the longest river in South America and the world.
3) What is the longest river in Asia?
The longest river in Asia-the third in the world after the Amazon and the Nilo is the Yangtze, with a length of over 6,300 kilometers from its source in the Tibetan Plateau in western China, to its mouth in the Sea East.
The Yangtze flows through valleys, big cities, small towns and mountain ranges of up to 10 different provinces. Especially famous are the three Yangtze River gorges: Qutang, Wuxia and Xiling, of great ecological value and place chosen by the Chinese government to build the largest dam of the planet.
Regarded as the cradle of ancient Chinese civilization, the Yangtze River is known in that country as Chang Jiang (Long River) and was named in some ancient atlas as Blue River, by analogy with the second largest river in China, the Hoang- Ho or Yellow River.
As a result of continued use for river transport, the waters of the Yangtze River are now quite polluted, which has caused the final extinction of the white dolphin, a rare species of freshwater cetaceans that existed in the world.

4) What is the longest river in North America?
The Mississippi or Mississippi River, (in English: Mississippi River) is a long river located in North America that crosses the central part of the United States. It runs between northern Minnesota and the Gulf of Mexico and its course has a crystal orientation. It has a length of 3,770 km, and only one of its tributaries, the Missouri, is longer in North America. The total length of these two rivers exceeds 6,800 km, and the surface of the Mississippi watershed make one of the largest rivers in the world and the Mississippi-Missouri one of the longest river systems in the world. During pre-Columbian times, and was an important waterway, and Amerindians called him "Meschacebé" 5 which means "father of waters." Today, the river is a key element of the economy and of American culture.
5) What’s the biggest bird in the world? Where does it
live? Describe it.
What's the biggest bird in the world?
Where does it live?
D. exulans inhabit all oceans of the southern hemisphere, especially in regionessubtropicales and sub, although it is not strange to see him in the Tropic of Capricorn, and sometimes even further north. Prefers deep sea fishing, far from land; feeding is based on cephalopods, fish and waste from boats.
The plumage of the wings is white in adult males, with black primary feathers; shows large covered wing mottled black towards the ends, and with age the proportion of target increases. The bill is pale pink with slightly inclined upward nostrils; feet are webbed, and flesh-colored. The smallest female, and has a crown of feathers brown. Juveniles show more brown plumage and brown legs. It closely resembles the royal albatross (Diomedea epomophora).
This stunning Andean bird can measure 1, 30 meters high, 3.50 meters from the tip of one wing to the other and reach a weight of about 12 kilograms. Unlike the ostrich, the condor can fly itself. And not only that, but it is one of the best birds are flying skills.
Its large wings allow him to glide for hours without moving them. With only about 12 kilos weight, can ascend to the amazing height of 7000 meters and have a view able to spot prey the size of a rabbit from a height of around 3,500 meters. Unfortunately, the Andean condor is endangered and is currently fighting to save the species.
6) What’s the biggest city in the world? What’s the
biggest city in your country?
What is the largest city in the world?
1 Tokyo, Japan
Metropolitan area: 34 million people
Population: 12.5 million people
With Tokyo is by far the world's largest urban region. Despite its size and complexity, Tokyo has very efficient public transportation, which accounts for nearly 80 percent of all daily trips in Tokyo.

Name: Vatican City.
Size: 0, 44 square kilometers.
Population: 921 (you surveyed in 2005).
Language: Latin.
Government: Elective Monarchy.
Despite being the smallest country in the world, is very powerful. It is where the Vatican is located, the center from which governs the Catholic Church. It is said that there are a billion Catholics in the world.
Vatican City has existed since 1929, after the Lateran Treaty, where Mussolini gave full independence to the Pope, who from 1870 lived inside the Italian borders. Before 1870, the Pope ruled the Papal States were Rome and surroundings.
The Swiss Guard is the only defense of the state. It is the oldest and smallest of the regular army corps, with about a hundred soldiers. Traditionally Swiss mercenaries was placed under the orders of the Pope. Today, the Guard still consists of single Swiss.
The economy of the Vatican is unique in the world. It is the only country that has no commercial economy: only lives on donations. Or so they say.
As luxury, have a radio called Radio Vatican and was built by Marconi himself. Recently also rumored that they wanted a football team to play in the Italian first division.
Vatican City is located in Rome, Italy, although if it is an independent state.
The lonsdaleite is a hexagonal allotrope of carbon found in meteorites, named in honor of Kathleen Lonsdale. It is a form similar to diamond, however hexagonal (polymorph).
7) What’s the smallest country in the world?
Where is it?
WORLD SMALLEST COUNTRY

8) What’s the hardest substance on Earth?
What is it used for?
lonsdaleite
First found in 1967 in microscopic crystals associated with diamond meteorite remnants in Arizona. It is believed that the meteorite impact against the ground graphite, heat and impact energy can transform graphite into diamond maintain its hexagonal structure.
It is black in color, brightness diamantínico. Crystals <3mm, pseudocubic, octahedral configuration. Diffraction 2.06,2.19,1.26. a = 3 b = 0 c = 4 α = 0 ° 0 ° β = γ = 0 ° Z = 4
Found in Tunguska, Russia and other meteorite impacts.
Appears on results of studies conducted in February 2009, which would Lonsdaleite 58% harder than diamond. It would, therefore, one of the hardest materials in nature, next to Boric of Wurtzite Nitride (WBN), due to the pressures in volcanic eruptions.
And its usefulness is over COLLECTION type, because it is really very low (more than diamond, as a polymorph of carbon).
